About the Homecoming

A celebration of unity, culture, development and investment

The Abia Global Diaspora Homecoming brings Ndi Abia home from every corner of the world for a day of worship, celebration and connection in Umuahia. The day opens with an interdenominational service and continues with a banquet.

The event is free. Registration is open to members of the unions recognised by the Abia State Diaspora Commission, the associations that anchor our communities abroad. The organising committee reviews every registration and confirms your union membership before your ticket is issued.

The Central Working Committee and the Central Organizing Committee run the event, with the Media & Communications sub-committee as your point of contact.
